Friday, March 19 at 7 p.m.

Voice of the Poet explores the creation of light, darkness, storm, still, breath, stars, and more through the eyes of the muse and the composers who reimagined their words through song. The expressions of Shakespeare, William Blake, Robert Frost, E.E. Cummings, Sara Teasdale, and others, enlivened by the musical voices of Carl Orff, Randall Thompson, Dan Forrest, Elaine Hagenberg, and Ralph Vaughan Williams, give life to a new sense of perspective, wonder, and hope that is the essence of creation.
